Workshops are offered daily from 11:00am-12:00pm Monday-Thursday. The Computer Literacy Workshop is offered 1:00-2:00pm on alternating Fridays. The Orientation Session must be completed before usage of the job lab and other services. Orientation is offered Monday-Thursday from 9:30am-10:15am.

Workshops
(Monday) Resume Writing & Job Search
This workshop breaks down concerns about finding a job and builds your confidence in finding employment. This workshop will educate you about the tools and skills to properly create a professional resume and cover letter for employers, how to properly search for employment opportunities, and follow through with employment applications.
(Tuesday) Interview Strategies
This workshop ensures that you are fully prepared to step into an interview to present your best, genuine, and authentic self through the importance of self-care and self-confidence. This session covers how to identify your strengths and abilities, the “do’s and don’ts” of interviewing, preparing for a successful interview, and advancement within a company or business.
(Wednesday) Employer Expectations & Incentives
This workshop covers the qualities of preferred employment candidates, job readiness, your role as an employee, and how to establish personal career goals. This session also covers benefit programs such as Work Opportunity Tax Credit and Fidelity Bonding.
(Thursday) Financial Literacy & Tips For Reentering the Community
This workshop covers the question “how money smart are you”? This workshop covers how to set smart financial goals through saving and dealing with debt, how to protect your money, understanding credit reports, how to organize and track your expenses.
(Friday) Computer Literacy
This workshop is offered by UAA at Partners Job Lab on alternating Fridays. Computer Literacy is an introduction to computers and IT, covering basic functions and processes to enhance your computer literacy skills.
