Joshua graduated from Pacific Lutheran University in 2012 with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, exposing him to subjects of constitutional law, civil liberties, and criminal justice reform. While attending a study away program in Elverum, Norway, he was able to explore the intersection between journalism, peace, and Norway’s prison model. Joshua worked in shipping and receiving in the wholesale automotive industry before joining Partners Reentry Center in 2014. While his role at the Reentry Center has transitioned from time spent at the front desk to time dedicated to case management, his focus now as the Director has shifted to program oversight and development. Outside of work, Joshua enjoys weight lifting, trail walking, reading, playing video games, watching movies, and playing Dungeons and Dragons.
