Graduates

Graduation from the Anchorage Wellness Court marks the successful completion of a rigorous 18 month treatment program. It is a time of commencement and new commitment to maintain all that has been achieved within the program.

A number of graduates felt that it would be helpful to have a way to stay connected after graduation, as well as to be able to give back and help others in the program with their knowledge and experience. As a result, in July 2006 the Anchorage Alumni Group was formed by the graduates of the Anchorage Wellness Court. The program has grown and expanded as more graduates have become actively involved.

Wellness Court Judges often encourage “pre-grads” to attend Alumni Group meetings so they can start building a sound foundation of sober friends and supporters to help them sustain their sobriety after they complete the court-ordered program.

The Alumni Group meets the first Wednesday and third Thursday of every month at 6:00 PM. Please call 272-1192 if you would like to join us. For lifelong recovery, we need each other!
