Through a legislatively designated grant managed by the Department of Health and Human Services, we provide closely coordinated assistance and support at the Partners Reentry Center. Partners for Progress collaborates with the Department of Corrections and many others to offer a program that combines housing and employment assistant with ongoing case management, peer support meetings and cognitive behavioral treatment for people returning to life after prison. Reentry participants receive assistance and are held accountable for their progress towards becoming productive citizens.
AFHC Homeless Assistance Program
Partners for Progress receives a Homeless Assistance Program grant from Alaska Housing Finance Corporation (AFHC). We use this grant in collaboration with the Alaska Department of Corrections and other agencies to provide housing to those with no resources so that on the day they are released from prison, they walk into safe and sober housing.
