Doreen has been active in promoting therapeutic justice throughout the state of Alaska for over 20 years. She is a founding member of the Alaska Therapeutic Court Alumni Group (AKTCA), a statewide peer support group supporting reentry, recovery, and therapeutic courts. Originally from Nome, Alaska, Doreen is especially involved in managing program development, financial management, and grant writing to secure funding for reformative justice programs in rural Alaska. Doreen has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management and Accounting from the University of Alaska Anchorage and an MBA with a Health Services focus from Alaska Pacific University. She enjoys volunteering, fishing, traveling, scuba diving, and skiing with her family and friends in her spare time. She prioritizes fostering a spirit of cooperation among Partners’ personnel and cooperating agencies as the key to success in Partners’ mission to reduce recidivism.
